The festival’s running from March 15-23, 2025, across multiple venues in Katoomba and Leura. This year’s gonna be massive with extended hours from 10am to 10pm daily. They’ve added two new stages and expanded the cultural program to include more indigenous experiences. Best part? The festival grounds are now fully accessible, so everyone can join in the fun!
β What’s New for 2025
Huge changes this year! They’ve introduced a dedicated wellness zone with yoga sessions and meditation spots overlooking the Jamison Valley. Food scene’s gone next level too – 15 new local food vendors joining the party. The adventure program’s been beefed up with guided bushwalks and abseiling taster sessions. Oh, and there’s gonna be a night market on Fridays and Saturdays with live music till late!

Main hub’s at Katoomba’s Festival grounds (Parke Street, Katoomba NSW 2780). Shuttle buses running every 20 minutes from Katoomba Station. The Scenic World venue opens at 8am for early bird sessions with discounted entry before 9am. Evening events kick off at 6pm with the main acts starting around 7:30pm. Don’t forget to check the weather – Mountain conditions can change quick!

Pro tip from someone who’s been going for years – grab the multi-day pass! It’s heaps cheaper and gives you access to all venues. Download the official app for real-time updates and secret gig locations. Pack layers – even in March it can get chilly at night. And definitely book accommodation early – places get snapped up months in advance. Consider staying in Leura for a quieter base, only 10 minutes away!
