🔥 Mark your calendars – Australia’s premier outdoor adventure festival is coming back better than ever next year!
📅 Festival Details
The Australia Outdoor Adventure Festival is set to make its massive return from March 15-22, 2026, stretching across multiple iconic locations across the country. This year’s festival promises to be the biggest yet, with organisers confirming over 200 unique outdoor activities, workshops, and experiences. From sunrise yoga sessions at Uluru to guided coastal walks in Tasmania, there’s literally something for every adventure level, mate!
⭐ What’s New for Visitors
Get this – they’ve just announced a whole bunch of ripper new additions for 2026! First up, there’s the Indigenous Culture Trail, which will give you proper insight into Aboriginal traditions through guided walks and storytelling sessions. Also new is the Extreme Sports Zone for those adrenaline junkies, plus family-friendly survival skills workshops that’ll have the kids loving the great outdoors. Oh, and they’ve expanded the food scene with more local Aussie tucker options!
📍 Location & Times
The festival will be held across 6 major locations: Uluru (NT), Blue Mountains (NSW), Great Barrier Reef (QLD), Cradle Mountain (TAS), Wilsons Promontory (VIC), and Margaret River (WA). Each location will host different activities throughout the week-long festival, with most events running from 8am to 8pm daily. You can cherry-pick which locations to visit based on your interests – I’m personally stoked about the Blue Mountains section!
💡 Key Changes to Know
Right, listen up ‘cos there’s some important changes this year. First, they’ve moved to a completely digital ticketing system – no more paper tickets! Also, they’ve capped attendance at each location to protect the environment, so you’ll wanna book early. Plus, they’ve introduced a ‘Leave No Trace’ pledge that all attendees need to sign. It’s a good thing though – keeps our beautiful country pristine for future generations!
💡 Tips & Warnings
