The brand-new Byron Bay Eco Campground officially opens its gates on January 15th, 2026! This ripper new spot is located right on the northern end of Main Beach, offering epic ocean views and easy access to both the beach and town center. The campground will be open year-round with peak season during summer months (December-February).
⭐ What to Expect
This ain’t your average campground, mate! The Byron Bay Eco Campground features eco-friendly solar-powered facilities, composting toilets, and recycled water systems. There’ll be 50 powered sites for caravans and campervans, plus 30 unpowered tent sites. The communal area includes a BBQ zone, camp kitchen, and fire pits for those chilly arvo sessions. Best part? You’re just a short stroll from the famous lighthouse and all the cafes and shops in town!
