Just got back from 7 days in Noosa and you won’t believe the hidden spots we found!

🔥 The sun dips low over Noosa Main Beach, painting the sky in fiery oranges and purples as the gentle waves lap at the shore. Just got back from a ripper 7-day family adventure in Noosa and I’m still buzzing from the memories we made!

🗓️ Day 1: Arrival and Noosa Heads

Touch down in Noosa and straight to the coast! Start with a walk along the Noosa Heads boardwalk – it’s only 2km but gives you a proper feel for the area. Grab some fish and chips at Harry’s Cafe de Wheels and watch the sunset from the headland. The kids’ll love spotting dolphins playing in the waves. Don’t miss the Noosa Ferry for a quick cruise around the inlet – heaps good value and you get to see the coastline from a different perspective.

🗓️ Day 2: Noosa National Park Adventure

Rise early and pack your lunch! Today’s all about the Noosa National Park. Start at the end of Park Road and tackle the Coastal Track. It’s only about 5km return but it’s absolutely stunning – you’ll get postcard-perfect views of Hell’s Gates and hidden coves. Spot koalas sleeping in the gum trees (keep your distance though!). The Tea Tree Bay and Dolphin Point detour is worth it, even with the extra steps. Pack plenty of water and your sunnies – it gets proper hot out there!

🗓️ Day 3: Beach Day and Hastings Street

Sleep in today then head to Main Beach for a proper arvo of swimming and sandcastles. The patrolled beach is perfect for families. Later, wander down Hastings Street – it’s got that fancy coastal village vibe but with heaps of affordable options. Grab an ice cream at Gympie Terrace and watch the world go by. For dinner, try the Noosa Farmers Market (if it’s Saturday) or one of the beachfront clubs for a family-friendly meal with ocean views.

🗓️ Day 4: Explore the Everglades

Day trip to the Everglades! The Everglades Discovery Tour is an absolute ripper – you’ll cruise through the pristine waterways and learn about the ancient ecosystem. Keep your eyes peeled for birdlife and maybe even a turtle! The Aboriginal cultural experience is really worth it – the stories they share about the land are fascinating. Pack a hat, sunscreen, and your camera – you’ll want to remember this day!

🗓️ Day 5: Adventure Day

Get the adrenaline pumping today! Head to the Noosa Wake Park for some cable skiing – they have beginner sessions so it’s perfect for all ages. The kids’ll love it! In the arvo, try stand-up paddleboarding on the Noosa River – the calm waters make it ideal for beginners. If you’re feeling brave, hire a kayak and explore the hidden waterways. Finish the day with a proper Aussie barbie at one of the riverside parks.

🗓️ Day 6: Relax and Explore

Take it easy today. Start with a yoga session on the beach – heaps of places offer family classes. Then wander through the Noosa Marina, checking out the fishing boats and grabbing a coffee. In the arvo, visit the Eumundi Markets (if it’s Wednesday or Saturday) for some local crafts and yummy treats. Finish with a sunset cruise on the Noosa River – the colours reflecting off the water are just unreal!

🗓️ Day 7: Last Hurrah and Departure

Make the most of your final morning! Hit up the Noosa Surf Club for a classic Aussie breakfast – proper brekkie with ocean views. Do one last walk along the beach, collecting shells as souvenirs. Before you leave, grab some local macadamia nuts from the roadside stalls – they’re a Noosa specialty! Pack up and head home already planning your next trip back to this piece of paradise.
