2️⃣ The Ribbon Cave Adventure – A bit more challenging but still perfect for beginners. You’ll see stunning crystal formations and underground streams. Last weekend I took my sister and she absolutely loved it!

✅ Long pants and long-sleeved shirt – protects you from scratches and keeps you warm underground

✅ Headlamp with extra batteries – caves are pitch black and you’ll need both hands free

✅ Water bottle and some snacks – you’ll work up an appetite down there

✅ Camera (if it’s waterproof) – the formations are bloody incredible!

Caving in Noosa is pretty much a year-round activity, but here’s the inside scoop:

🌧️ Winter (May-August): My personal favourite! Cooler temps mean more comfortable caving conditions. Just rug up with extra layers – underground temps can be 5-10 degrees cooler than outside.

🌞 Summer (December-February): Warmer above ground, but caves stay cool. Just be prepared for higher humidity and more slippery conditions.

🍂 Autumn & Spring: Perfect balance! Less crowded and great weather conditions.

Pro tip: Book early in the season (May-June) for smaller groups and better prices. I went on a weekday last year and practically had the caves to ourselves!
