The Sunshine Coast Council has just opened the stunning Noosa Coastal Lookout at the end of Park Road. This $2.3 million project offers 180-degree panoramic views from Noosa Heads all the way to Double Island Point. I was there this morning for the soft launch, and let me tell you, the sunrise views are absolutely insane!

The lookout features elevated viewing platforms, native landscaping, and interpretive signage about local Kabi Kabi cultural significance. There’s also a new 500m accessible walking trail connecting to the existing Noosa National Park track. Best part? It’s completely free and open 24/7! The main viewing deck can accommodate about 50 people, so it’s perfect for both solo adventurers and family outings.
