π‘ Tips & Warnings
β
Do test all your gear at home first – nothing worse than a leaky tent in the rain!
β Don’t forget to check fire restrictions before you go – total fire bans are common in summer
β οΈ Always tell someone your exact plans and when you’ll be back – mobile reception can be patchy out bush
β
Do pack extra food and water – emergencies happen and it’s better to have too much than not enough
